Benefactor and Largesse
The other night, the Angels were excitedly sharing new ways to embody abundance. They reminded me that each of us can be a “conduit through whom Divine resources flow.” And I was so excited when they said, “The Infinite’s resources are infinite!” (Of course they are! It’s in the name!😆👏)
As the Angels shared this FEELING with me, they kept emphasizing two words:
Benefactor. According to the Oxford Languages dictionary, a benefactor is “a person who gives money or other help to a person or cause.” This reminds me of being a “patron of the arts,” in the sense of someone who provides financial or other support that gives creative beings the space in which to relax and thrive and create. When I feel into being a benefactor, it feels spacious. Expansive. Abundant. It feels like living in Divine Flow.
Largesse. This word feels especially delicious to me. It’s fun to say. And it roughly means “generosity in bestowing money or gifts upon others.” Yet when the Angels shared it with me, it felt like so much more. It felt like a being state … like a way of acting as an Earth Angel: by being the physical vessel through which the Divine can flow resources to “others.” It felt like surprising and delighting others … directly or indirectly.
I was reminded that a few years ago, I used to receive great joy from sprinkling spare change around parking lots, and also from hiding quarters or dollar bills under items in grocery stores. Imagine the surprise and delight of someone picking up a loaf of bread from the day-old bread cart and finding a dollar bill underneath! It feels so fun to be the “Money Fairy” in this way!
As the Angels were sharing with me about being a benefactor and experiencing largesse, one thing was VERY clear: This happens from a very different energy space and consciousness than the old programming around giving and charity. It doesn’t have the energy of “should” or “have to.”
And … it does NOT feel like playing Hot Potato with money, meaning: As soon as you get money, you hurry to give it away.
Rather, THIS feels like receiving for me AND for others.
It feels like living in total Trust in Divine Flow, so much so that there is zero concern about holding onto what is flowing through.
In short: It feels like Being Abundance in the world.
