People We Enjoy

Three female co-workers laughing while working together

I was lying awake in the middle of the night, feeling some stress over whether I was working with the “right” vendor on a project. I liked this person, but he was young. And something he had said in our most recent conversation was niggling at me. I found myself wondering if I had done my “due diligence.”

In other words: I was feeling off. For hours.

Finally, I got the message that I’m sure the Angels had been delivering for hours. And wow, was it awesome!

Quite simply, the Angels assured me that they can work through anyone.

So, rather than getting all worked up about it, or running around trying to find the “right” or the “best” or even the “most resonant” person, the Angels were encouraging me … and all of us … to find people whom we ENJOY.

The Angels went on: You and I can (and will) bring our curiosity and our presence and our ability to ask powerful, unlocking questions to whatever we’re doing. In fact, the Angels will inspire those questions within us, and they will provide plenty of guidance all along the way.

So, we get to choose playmates.

We get to engage with people who feel fun … or soothing … or fascinating … or whatever lights us up or feels like a “yes” for that leg of the journey.

This certainly feels like a beautiful way to invite more joy and camaraderie and connection into our lives, doesn’t it?
