Your Original “Factory Settings”
The angels would like to explain what we mean when we talk about “restoring you to your original factory settings.”
Mostly, we are talking about dissolving subconscious programming and belief systems. We are talking about returning you to your pristine and natural state.
For example, feeling unworthy and undeserving—and therefore blocked from receiving—comes from programming. Other programming that blocks receiving includes belief systems like “it’s better to give than to receive.”
In clear contrast: Feeling open and receptive is your natural state. This is probably easiest to understand if you think of nature: Birds and trees don’t question whether they are worthy of receiving. They simply live in an open and receptive state.
Similarly, most humans have been programmed to feel shame and embarrassment. Rare are the humans who can walk through life without caring what other people think, even if they trip over a crack in the sidewalk … or mispronounce a word in a job interview. These rare humans are living in their natural state of self-acceptance.
(Yes, we do acknowledge that there are people who are don’t care what others think because their woundedness renders them unable to feel empathy, but that’s a whole different conversation.)
For now, please know that it’s programming and limiting belief systems that keep you trapped in anxiety, stress, comparison and fear.
So, the more you can release that programming and those limiting beliefs, the easier it is to experience joy, ease, flow, love and abundance in your everyday life. Those truly are your natural states: your original factory settings.
