Dress for Success?

Looking through rack of clothes

Do you ever “try to look” a certain way? Like trying to “look professional” or “look successful” or “look sexy”?

Have you noticed that trying to look a certain way is all about trying to control how other people perceive you? And have you noticed that it’s almost impossible to control that?!

Also, have you noticed that trying to look a certain way can make you feel really self-conscious, no matter how much your friends may try to reassure you that you look great?

Talk about taking you out of your power!

It can be really liberating to realize that:

The people who are going to judge you based on what you’re wearing are pretty likely going to judge you, period ... no matter WHAT you’re wearing!

So, would you be willing to STOP trying to look a certain way for other people?

And would you be willing to START choosing what you wear based on how it feels to you?

The angels would love for you to choose clothes that feel comfortable physically. And emotionally. And even mentally and spiritually!

Sure, sometimes that might mean wearing yoga pants all day. (Yay!) And sometimes it might mean recognizing that you actually love wearing jeans and a blazer and cowboy boots!

We encourage you to play with this, because it’s actually a very powerful practice. Choosing what you wear based on how it feels for you is an act of self-care and self-love. AND it’s an act of self-empowerment. It’s also a delicious form of self-expression and self-honoring.

Please do let us know how this feels to you—and if there’s any aspect of this that you really struggle with.

Sue Elliott

A few years ago, one of Sue Elliott’s coaching clients said, “I tell people you’re My Angel Coach,” and the name stuck! Angel Coaching is Sue’s own unique blend of life-and-business coaching, energy healing and delivering guidance from the Angels. Like all of us, Sue has been on a Divinely guided journey in this lifetime, gathering a unique combination of skills and experiences. For 30+ years, she was a magazine editor and writer. Sue specialized in creating brand-new magazines to be sold on newsstands nationwide, including automotive enthusiast magazines, chef-recipe food magazines, and a personal transformation magazine called Law of Attraction. She also has owned a boutique PR agency, been a spokesperson for the automotive aftermarket, ghost-written two books for actor/environmentalist Ed Begley, Jr., helped sell clients’ products into the major retailers in the United States, and served as Chief Growth Officer for an education technology startup. About 17 years ago, Sue began doing Angel Coaching, and her new book, My Angel Coach, is essentially “Sue in book form.” It contains the most potent tools, techniques and healings that she and the Angels have shared with their beloved clients ... tools that have helped people transform every aspect of their lives, as they step into their True Power.
